Circle.book - A History of Cartography Sigils
In-Game Text
The Warded Lock Sigil:
This one is the most common of the sigils used by Cartographers.
They are often inscribed on walls to hide illegally manifested Doorways.
Sometimes though, they are used to hide Files or even Anomalies within the walls.
Opening up one requires a special makeshift key that most Cartographers keep on them.
Moon Phase Sigil:
A Sigil with a 16 chamber lock. Each chamber corresponds with a phase of Abraxas.
These can only be activated at certain phases of the Lord's Eye.
The art of this kind of sigil has mostly been repurposed as a lock on Treasure Cubes.
Labrys Sigil:
Within this Sigil is a hidden floor layout. The Labrys.key is needed,
But finding these is quite rare.
I've heard that the old ones in the Backstage sell them sometimes,
But when asked, they all seem to play dumb about it.
Perhaps if I was better attuned to the philosophy of a Cartographer,
They might trust me more.
Seed Sigil:
A Sigil that can supposedly only be opened when the Random Seed aligns with it.
Despite the Seed and the Sigil aligning,
I have never been able to get one of these to open up.
There must be a tool I am missing.
That's my guess.
Typos
Sigils is often used both as a proper noun (capitalized as "Sigils") and as a common noun (written uncapitalized as "sigils").
Sewing.book - Needle in the Tomato: A Beginner's Guide to Sewing
In-Game Text
Now, when I'm sewing something like this I know it calls for something special.
A red thread of fate will be the perfect addition to a magical item!
What I usually do is soak my thread in a concentration of blood.
It'll absorb the color real quick!
Though that may sound gross, I assure you it's safe for any doll!
Once you do this you will have the perfect red thread of fate!
It's the key to unlocking an Outfit's magical potential in my opinion!
But you must be careful too! Blood contains Memory... So the red thread is also susceptible to generating Entropy.
Something you most certainly don't want in the structure of your clothes!
But of course if anything like that were to happen, you can always just patch it up!
That's the Magic of Sewing~
Daemon.book - Daemons of the Labyrinth
In-Game Text
The Feared Daemon.
One of the highest ranks of Anomalies that dwell within this Labyrinth,
While other Anomalies are often visually fragmented in appearance, the Daemon has an unmistakable form to it.
If Shadows are an inbetween space for a Memory, then a Daemon is most certainly the Memory fully exposed.
They often have a higher magical aptitude when compared to other lesser magic using Anomalies,
And most famously, they are known to be extremely sadistic.
Some are in possession of such great power that they can manipulate the very space of the labyrinth to their desires!
In severe cases, turning a part of the Labyrinth into a dimensional trap for unsuspecting travelers.
Though sealing their powers often works to hinder some of these Anamolies,
The higher level ones may resist all kinds of Program Seals altogether.
These higher level Daemons however, rarely appear in the first and second circles of the labyrinth.
If you ever find yourself in the pocket universe of one of these anomalies: fighting them head on proves useless.
An alternative solution to break out of their dimension is needed.
Only then can they be challenged on a more even playing field.

Dragon.book - Legendary Dragons
In-Game Text
In regards to the categorization of Pareidolia Anomalies, it is Dragons who share the highest rank with Daemons.
These fierce foes are said to be a resule of extremely high concentrations of Memory, always taking the form of a majestic beast.
Observers henceforth started refering to these kinds of Anomalies as Dragons, named after the same legendary beasts of old.
As for Dragons of this Labyrinth, The Green Ones of Dante are particularly nasty adversaries.
Though they seem to only appear when the Light of Abraxas is at it's dimmest.
And then there's the Dragon Cocoons deep within the Backstage...
If you ever run into one of these slumbering babies, beware!
They must taken care of fast! For if you leave them alone too long, they will hatch into a most dreadful Anomaly...
There also so called "Mechanical Dragons" like the Clockwork Hydra of Knossos.
But these Anomalies are merely imitators of the real thing,
Animate Psuedo-Dragons built by The Master of Labyrinth.

Chimera.book - An Unofficial History of Illegal Doll Constructs
In-Game Text
Whether the Chimera can truly be considered a kind of Doll or an Anomaly is still up for debate.
It is maybe better to describe the Anomalies as viral loads of Entropy that hide within Hollow Dolls.
If that weren't bad enough, these monsters are often totally invulnerable to any kind of edged weapon.
This makes fighting them on even ground very difficult unless you come to the battle prepared.
In theory, Harmonic Programs should be effective in subduing them. They are bundles of sentient Entropy after all!
The Chimera is even theorized to be the root cause of Disorder magic appearing within the Labyrinth hundreds of years ago.
Now you may have read this elsewhere, But The Art Labyrinthine Magic, and the Art of Disorder Magic are actually related magical practices!
Since Disorder Magic is obviously a bastardization of the principals of true Labyrinthine Magic,
It would only make sense that it was developed by the Chimera as a practice.
Devoid of any critical thought of their own, the Chimera must steal and appropriate from others around them.
This is precisely one of many reasons Chimera are so dangerous.
For everything they touch becomes tainted with their entropic nature. All they can do is corrupt what they seek to imitate.
They can only lure others further away from our shared understanding of the truth.
Typos

Weapons.book - Dictionary of Legendary Weapons
In-Game Text
nm
This book which seems very interesting is actually unfinished.
Perhaps someday, someone will write something in this book about the many weapons found in the Labyrinth.
But for now it is a book filled with nothing.
Why Velvet would even have this book in her Archive remains a mystery.
Notes
The book covers legendary weapons, which are presumably unimplemented.
Memsmith.book - The Art of Memory Smithing
In-Game Text
Because the majority of Swords have a power increment of 8,
For each Memory allotment that is infused, the Sword's power will increase by half.
With the maximum a sword's power can be increased being: +12 to it's original ATK.
Or more plainly put: a maximum of 3 levels.
Once a weapon is at it's highest level, it can sometimes be fused with a material.
This will transform the weapon into a new one.
And sometimes, this new weapon can be infused with more Memory afterwards.
As an example: If Gladius+3.swd is infused with Iron.dat,
It will become a MetaGladius.swd
This weapon carries similar ATK power to the Gladius+3, but it has a higher hit rate.
As well as dealing critical damage to Animate anomalies.
Unfortunately, there are limitations to Memsmithing,
Fists, Bows, Guns, Rods, and Whips cannot be modified through Memsmithing.
A +3 weapon may also decrease in power when being turned into a new weapon.
Notes
Weapon infusion is not yet implemented. The infusion of Iron.dat into a Gladius+3.swd cannot be done, so a MetaGladius cannot be obtained through this method.
Typos

Gemstone.book - A History of Gemstones
In-Game Text
A legendary Alchemical Art used by high level practitioners, in some disciplines, it is referred to as the Magus Trinity.
This is because each of the gemstones is associated with one of the elements mastered by an Arch-Magus.
Ruby is the realm of Ignis.
As Sapphire is to Glacies.
And lastly, Emeralds are in the domain of Vis.
It is when these three gemstones are synchronized that an awesome effect can be witnessed!
The Waring Triad ritual, which is said to generate all three of the basic elemental energies at once.
When keeping in mind the nature of the three gemstones, the power drawn from them can be quite versatile.
Silver and Water in particular are also known to react to Sapphire's nature.
The three are known to synergize quite well with other materials, even ones outside the proper rules of material relationship.

Traits.book - On Traits
In-Game Text
Once the level of energy is sufficient, the development of a Trait can occur.
A sort of unintended reaction within the base that changes it's properties.
It's been shown that having a high amount of ELE energy correlates to the development of...
...both electrical resistant traits, and and enhancement of electrical power.
These will often last one full revolution of Abraxas,
But can be triggered again up synchronization, so long as the energy level is right.
Typos

Archetypes.book - On Archetypes
In-Game Text
A doll can contain many Archetypes at once.
Though this is partially determined by their starting Archetype,
All Archetypes still come from the great sea of Memory.
So long as a Doll is connected to that sea, many things can be remembered.
Rituals of Alchemical Arts are the most efficient way to extract these Memories.
As all Alchemical Arts are the practice of reenacting events that have occurred.
But what can be confidently remembered as your Memory is limited to the Doll herself.
A Doll must first embody the Memory they seek,
Only then will they remember what they actually are.
This can be achieved either through strengthening a Doll's certain stats,
Or through ensuring the Doll has the proper programs installed.
A number between 20 and 30 is often the key.
Seed.book - The 12 Seeds
In-Game Text
nm
It's said the Labyrinth's mysteries can be explained by the Labyrinth's Seed. A number which governs all mystery.
Of the known seeds, there are said to be twelve,
They are:
0000, 1114, 0080, 3131, 9810, 6016, 6174, 5526, 7115, 9999, 0700, and lastly, 0009.
It is also said there is Thirteenth Seed... But not much has been recorded about it.
Typos

Return.book - The One Hundred Footsteps
Notes
There is no text in this book - rather, when used, it will show a notification that says "Warp to: Staircase" on the top of the screen, and warp to a staircase on the floor.
Presumably warps you to the last visited staircase, which will most often be the one from which you entered the floor.
Death.book - Do Not Open This Book
Notes
There is no text in this book - rather, when used, the screen will turn white, pink, and red, then back to white. This will kill all dolls in the party./ This will be treated as a defeat in battle: you will see the cutscene with a minotaur, be sent to Tao, and lose half of your held MEM.
Ignis.book - Book of Ingnis
In-Game Text
This book is pages upon pages of diagrams related to the element of fire.
Having this on hand may increase the power of [Fire] programs.
Notes
Having this book in your inventory will increase the damage of Ignis programs by 15-20%. This boost will not influence the damage of Magus Bullet.
Derivation of boost
Damage on Beholderkin with books, using Ignis.d: 132, 126, 127, 142, 137. Average of 132.8.
Damage on Beholderkin without books, using Ignis.d: 106, 96, 119, 107, 122. Average of 110.
132.8 / 110 = 1.207, so approximately a boost from 100% to 120% damage.
Typos
The book's title when selected in the menu reads as Book of Ingnis instead of Book of Ignis.
Glacies.book - Book of Glacies
In-Game Text
This book is pages upon pages of diagrams related to the element of ice.
Having this on hand may increase the power of [Ice] programs.
Notes
Having this book in your inventory will increase the damage of Glacies programs by 15-20%. This boost will not influence the damage of Magus Bullet.
Derivation of boost
Damage on Beholderkin with books, using Glacies.d: 125, 133, 125, 120, 118, 120. Average of 123.5.
Damage on Beholderkin without books, using Glacies.d: 109, 120, 105, 105, 120, 97. Average of 109.3.
123.5 / 109.3 = 1.13, so approximately a boost from 100% to 113% damage.
Let's assume it's supposed to be a 20% like the other two books, because I probably got some low rolls using Glacies.d while holding Glacies.book.
Vis.book - Book of Vis
In-Game Text
This book is pages upon pages of diagrams related to the electric element.
Having this on hand may increase the power of [Electric] programs.
Notes
Having this book in your inventory will increase the damage of Vis programs by 15-20%. This boost will not influence the damage of Magus Bullet.
Derivation of boost
Damage on Beholderkin with books, using Vis.d: 129, 114, 132, 129, 140. Average of 128.8.
Damage on Beholderkin without books, using Vis.d: 104, 119, 97, 112, 109. Average of 108.2.
128.8 / 108.2 = 1.19, so approximately a boost from 100% to 120% damage.
Damage on Beholderkin with books, using Electric-aligned Magus Bullet: 50, 42, 47, 53, 48. Average of 48.
Damage on Beholderkin without books, using Electric-aligned Magus Bullet: 47, 46, 46, 52, 46, 46, 52, 50. Average of 48.125.
48 / 48.125 = 0.997, so approximately a drop from 100% to 99.7%.
Cardinal.book - War of the Northern Roses
In-Game Text
Inside this book the pages appear to be hollowed out,
A mechanical compass has been inserted inside the hollowed out space.
Having this on hand makes it clear which direction you are facing.
Notes
Having this book in the inventory changes the character's icon on the minimap from a circle to an arrow pointing in the cardinal direction the player is facing.
Redundant with the Mysterian passive skill of the same effect.
Eye.book - Grimoire of Watchers
In-Game Text
This book is covered in mechanical eyes similar to those of a Gazer.
It seems to record any Anomaly information the eyes percieve into it's pages.
Having this on hand should allow you to better understand your opponents.
Notes
This book unlocks the details of any Anomaly encountered in the Archive's Anomaly Grimoire.
This is in contrast to the regular unlock method, which requires the player to defeat the Anomaly.
Typos

Iron.dat
Another common metal.

Tempering it with itself is a common technique to increase it's hardiness.
Sometimes triggering a transmutation into Steel.
Lead.dat
A common metal noted for it's toxicity.
| MAT | PLT | WAT | FIR | ICE | ELE | MAG | SPR | LUK | HAR | DIS |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| HIGH | NA | NA | NA | NA | NA | NA | NA | NA | NA | NA |
One of the oldest metals recorded by Alchemists,
Mixing it with itself is said to have fairly adverse effects.
There is a legend amongst Alchemists that this metal can be transmuted into Gold.dat.
Though the exact circumstances are not completely understood,
It must be transmuted via a Three-Point Ritual in which it is the center piece.
Tin.dat
The fourth of the common metals.
| MAT | PLT | WAT | FIR | ICE | ELE | MAG | SPR | LUK | HAR | DIS |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| HIGH | NA | NA | LOW | NA | MED | LOW | NA | MED | MED | NA |
Associated with the planet Jupiter,
This Metal has some capacity to generate electrical energy but not by much.
It is not used particularly often in the Alchemical Arts.
Gold.dat
One of the most sought after and rare metals within the labyrinth,
| MAT | PLT | WAT | FIR | ICE | ELE | MAG | SPR | LUK | HAR | DIS |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| HIGH | NA | NA | HIGH | NA | LOW | HIGH | MED | LOW | MED | MED |
Associated with the Sun, this metal fetches a high price on the market.
Some alchemists devote their entire practice to trying to transmute this metal-
-from other metals.
Has some versatility with the Alchemical Arts. Especially ones of an expert level.
Silver.dat
Another rare metal with high magical aptitude.
| MAT | PLT | WAT | FIR | ICE | ELE | MAG | SPR | LUK | HAR | DIS |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| HIGH | NA | HIGH | NA | MED | MED | HIGH | MED | HIGH | LOW | HIGH |
Associated with the Moon, this metal is used in the creation of many magical items.
It is the sister metal of both Gold.dat and Mercury.dat.
This is notable as Gold.dat does not have the same relation to Mercury.dat.
Because of this, some Alchemists consider it to be the more useful of the two metals.
Mercury.dat
One of the Three Primes,
also goes by the name Quicksilver.
| MAT | PLT | WAT | FIR | ICE | ELE | MAG | SPR | LUK | HAR | DIS |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| NA | NA | MED | NA | NA | NA | MED | HIGH | HIGH | NA | HIGH |
Unlike the other metals mentioned in this book, Mercury.dat does not have a stable form.
It's power lies in what materials it is paired with in a Alchemical Reaction,
For it's unstable nature is known to multiply the energy output of many rituals.
One must be careful though, as Mercury's volatileness makes it a prime candidate for-
incuring entropy in an experiment.
Caution is advised when using this metal.

| MAT | PLT | WAT | FIR | ICE | ELE | MAG | SPR | LUK | HAR | DIS |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MED | MED | NA | NA | NA | NA | MED | NA | NA | MED | MED |
The Digital of Plane.dat has been theorized to be a parallel to this Analog,
As the two have some syngery with each other.
Ink.dat
A form of soluble Analog data.
| MAT | PLT | WAT | FIR | ICE | ELE | MAG | SPR | LUK | HAR | DIS |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LOW | MED | MED | NA | NA | NA | LOW | LOW | LOW | LOW | MED |
Despite being included as a material in many alchemy books,
Ink.dat has very little use outside of one or two Alchemical Arts.
It is theorized that maybe this Analog was used in older practices in place-
of certain Materials.
But in this day and age there is little reason to be using it.
String.dat
Probably the most notable of the Analogs,
| MAT | PLT | WAT | FIR | ICE | ELE | MAG | SPR | LUK | HAR | DIS |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MED | MED | NA | NA | NA | LOW | HIGH | NA | HIGH | NA | MED |
It is one of the only materials that generates high degrees of LUK.
It is also a basic building block of most files found within the labyrinth.
It's also notable for having a high magic potency.
Typos
I've commited to not really noting the typos of the encyclopedia books, but notably in the String.dat entry for this book, the bar that appears above when reading an entry will read Analog: Ink.dat instead of Analog: String.dat. Since I don't include the contents of this bar in the transcriptions of the books, I feel like this is a notable typo to mention.

The Three Alchemical Primes:
Though there is much debate about the best practices around Material allotment...
I think everyone can agree on the nature of the legendary three primes.
Firstly there is Sulphur.
The very essence of being.
Salt which represents the vessel to which the essence interacts with the physical realm.
And finally Mercury as the wavelength to which that essence travels.
In layman's terms, they are representations of the Body, Spirit and Soul.
Mercury in particular is known for it's tendency to trigger a higher energy payout.
It's presence anywhere in a ritual will multiply the effects of energy generation for certain elements.
It's uses are limited, however.
The effectiveness of this Mercurial Multiplier as it's called by some will weaken with each reaction in the chain.
On top of that, it is known to be a catalyst for Entropy generation.
One should always be cautious when dealing with Material Data in general, but the Three Primes in particular, moreso.

Alchemy II.book - The Basics of Alchemy Vol.II
In-Game Text
For each point of influence on a doll, a channel of energy is designated.
When a reaction occurs in a given channel, production of it's given elemental energy has been observed.
But for what material is best suited for each channel? Still there is much debate even amongst the most seasoned of us.
I suppose it really depends on the chain of reactions you have set up within your cauldron...
But for the sake of learning purposes, we'll stick to discussing the materials with the highest base synergies.
Generation of the Three Elements can be amplified by applying gemstiones of the given element to a channel.
Placing a Ruby in the channel fo Fire,
will always generate more fire energy.
The opposite is also true,
Placing a Sapphire in the same channel,
may reduce the output of Fire energy.
Because the Wind can influence both Fire and Water,
The Channel of Air will react to any gemstone.
But placing a Vegetable in the channel of Air will reduce the output of Electrical energy.
Now reader, lets say you wish to increase the presence of PLT Energy in your next Alchemical Ritual,
Do you know which channel would be best suited to place a Vegetable in?
I will leave the answer of that one to you.

Some general notes on various material relations:
Mineral -> Metal:
Generates smalls amounts of MAT.
This is because most Metals are really just a refined Mineral.
Metal is always derived from Mineral.
So the two compliment each other well.
The more MAT transferred between channels in total: The more MAT is generated.
Metal <-> Metal
Generates MAT and HAR.
Under certain circumstances, this relation can generate ELE as well.
Harmonic Energy is often generated when two Materials of the same type interact with each other.
Because of that,
Mineral <-> Mineral works similarly.
But it will generate FIR instead of ELE in the same circumstances.
Mineral -> Vegetable
Generates PLT Energy, as the Vegetable feeds off the Mineral.
Vegetable -> Animal
Generates WAT Energy, as the Animal feeds off the Vegetable's nutrients.
Animal -> Mineral
Generates SPR Energy, as the Mineral feeds off the Animal's decaying form.
Digital <-> Digital
Reduces DIS while generating HAR.
Is sometimes known to reduce a doll's Entropy.
Analog <-> Analog
Increases MAG and HAR.
Analog <-> Digital
This one is a special case.
The polarity of energy that has been generated will be inverted.
Increases in energy will become decreases, and decreases in energy will become increases.
Analog -> Metal
Increases MAT and MAG.
This one has a higher likelihood of generating a Trait.
Analog -> Mineral
High likelihood to generate an Archetype.
There are also four so-called forbidden relations in the Alchemy of the Body:
Metal -?- Vegetable,
Metal -?- Animal,
Mineral -?- Digital,
And Vegetable -?- Digital,
These relations are known to create unstable reactions where any kind of Energy is produced.
Not only will the output of energy generation be unpredictable,
But there is a higher likelihood of Entropy generating within the Doll itself.
However, there are some who swear by the effects of these unstable reactions.
In particular, they are known to increase the chances of a Trait developing within the doll.
There are even some reports that these relations can trigger the awakening of a hidden Archetype within the Doll.
But the likelihood of it happening is rather low.
Lastly, there are many other edge cases where certain energies can be produced.
These are usually related to what energies are generated in a previous reaction in the ritual's chain.
Transfers of a certain energy type [->] can increase the energy further with each compatible reaction in the chain.
Try setting up a chain of materials in your ritual that follow a natural flow,
Like:
[Mineral] -> [Vegetable] -> [Animal]
See for yourself how the energy will build on previous reactions in this chain.
Typos

Here I will share some general notes on various Alchemical Art techniques.
[Metal] to [Metal] techniques are often used to convert the [MAT] of a doll into another energy type.
Notably [The Black Painting] Art will transfer half of a doll's [MAT] to it's [ELE].
While [The Union of Venus and Mars] will copy the total generated [MAT] for the current synchronization into the doll's [SPR].
The amount of total energy a doll has accumulated in one domain may also play a role in the triggering of a Transmutation.
As you synchronize your doll more, it is likely that more complex reactions will begin to occur within her.
But a doll's Energy is not the only determining factor in how much energy is produced and moved around via an Alchemical Art.
It is also been observed that the phase of Abraxas has an effect on energy generation and transmutation of certain materials.
Synchronizing when the Eye is open may yield different results.
There are even some Arts which use a doll's Base and Synchronized Stats in determining how much energy is produced!
I could go on and on about all these little rules, but I think you get the picture?
Though there is a steep learning curve, mastering Alchemy is most rewarding through trial and error.
For all Alchemy is learned through experimentation, right?

Entropy.book - Other Side: On Wielding Entropy
In-Game Text
As we had gone over in the previous chapter,
The Art of these machine wizards was derived from the forbidden knowledge that only Architects were allowed to know.
And so the nature of numerals, probability, of mathematics, they are a very important foundation of entropic magic.
For those who follow the dark arts, there are many symbolic objects used in their rituals.
One of the most important of those symbols was the knife of the math cult, The Archimedeamagi!
For within it is the Memory of the greatest of mathematicians.
Without this ritual object,
The apprentice Technomancer can never ascend to the mastery level of the teacher!
And even so, those only of the highest intellect may go through the proper steps of this ritual.
There are many safeguards placed within the Memory to ensure unworthy dolls are blocked from accessing it.
But so long as the mind is trained properly, the secrets will surface from the deep.
White.book - White Book: A History of Correctors
In-Game Text
\nm
As more Labyrinth dwellers and travellers began conducting illegal buisness within the Backstage, something had to be done about it.
And so, that's where The Correctors were introduced. Originally they were watchdogs of the Architects.
Their mastery of Harmonic Program Magic goes unwatched among the eight base Archetypes of the Doll,
As Harmony is the natural enemy of Entropy.
And the most fearsome of Correctors? The Tech-Valkyrie.
A fierce cyberspace warrior who uses weapon based Harmonic attacks to dispatch out of control Anomalies.
Though most weapon skills require STR or TEC, the Valkyrie's are based around their naturally high INT.
Despite this, the Tech-Valkyrie maintains a strong balance between their STR, TEC, and INT.
That is the key to their versatility.

Wielding her blessed tower shield:
The Firewall,
She was unmovable.
A divine wall that dispelled all malice.
And with the highest endurance of all her comrades,
No evil could break our dame's cheerful spirit.
And then there was Ciel of the 100 Ravens.
A master of every weapon. Her strength was unmatched.
And her signature move?
The Black Star Waltz?
A sword technique that ensured no opponent could catch their footing again.
The two of them supported the Lace Ribbons to the very end.
Their last stand against the Horned Oracle, Polyanna.

At this point, the Gunsmith Magus became the standard school of thought for magic users.
After all, a Gun, or Caster as it's called by some Mages, is a much more powerful catalyst for spellcasting than a Rod.
But one can only ascend to the level of a true gunman after mastering the power of the Magus first.
A high intellect is needed before even thinking of wrapping one's head around the secrets of Magus mastery.

Water.book - An Alchemical History of Water
In-Game Text
It is theorized the Water recorded within the Memory is not the same as the Water we have in today's age.
But that does not mean there are not similarities between our Water and the Water of old!
Any Alchemicst worth his weight in Salt could tell you this.
When it comes to Water's properties as a Mineral it's ability to increase the Water Energy in reactions is unmatched.
This is most true when balancing the flow of Water through it's designated channel.
The Right Arm is always within the dominion of Water.
For all aspiring alchemists, it's connections in relation to the Moon should also be noted.
There are many accounts of it being susceptible to it's pull, in which it is drawn away from from the World.
Now, while we do know that The Moon is analogous to The Lord's Eye;
It is not known whether this phenomena is an Alchemical truth or a misunderstanding of the World from before.

Mars.book - The Celestrial Body of Man
In-Game Text
Although these vessels are no longer designed in the shape of majestic Mars, his ghost persists in our day to dat life.
Take the fact that many weapons within The Labyrinth are forged in Iron,
Obiously, there is a practical reason as to why this has been a most suited material for blacksmithing.
But doesn't that also reinforce the natural truth of these stories within the Memory?
That Mars would bestow his blessing to such a metal in the first place.
Just as Venus would bless the metal which tempers Iron?
Of course this is all in abstract.
The deities of old are just stories.
But still they are stories the people of the Old World used to make sense of their lives.
Which is to say the real magic of spinning such stories is the grains of truth mixed in.
And the fact those two metals oppose each other yet have such good synergy...

And a puzzlebox which contains the past, present and future inside of it.
Many such dangerous treasures were inside that casket.

Despite it being known to be Asterion's,
she insisted the corpse inside the casket was of someone else.
To me, that was the weirdest thing.
And what she did with the tools afterwards...
Door.book - The Great Doors of Labyrinthos

I'm telling you, It's a misunderstanding that the song which moves labyrinths is what opens those gates.
When in actuality, the song is moving parts of the labyrinth itself to align with the gate!
That is why it's called the Song Which Moves Labyrinths, right?
Though, ive never been able to scrounge up proof that this is the case. Still I am certain it must be true?
As i see more of the Labyrinth, a gut feeling tells me it is truer than true.
There are times I've been around the Rivers and felt I'm standing somewhere unfamiliar, despite my location being the same.
I hear there is even a Door that lets you go anywhere you want within the labyrinth!

Stairs.book - The Great Stairs of Labyrinthos
In-Game Text
The Staircases of the Labyrinth are under the jurisdiction of the Master of Stairs: Tower of Babel.
The connection between the ascending and descending staircase is maintained by him.
Which is to say, whether you reach the top or bottom of a staircase is to his whims alone.
I've found that when it comes to the labyrinth's staircases, there's two kinds of logic to them.
A stairwell of linear logic,
And a stairwell of a non-euclidean logic.
For a linear staircase:
The coordinates of the two stairs are the same between floors.
While for the non-euclidean stairs:
Ascending or descending them will often take you to a different spot of the map entirely.
I've also notices that the size of the two adjacent floors can be a good indicator as to which kind you are dealing with.
When two consecutive floors are of the same size, there's a good chance their stairs will have linear logic to them.
The staircases between BF4 and BF5 of the Crypt of Popes are a great example of this.
Wall.book - The Great Walls of Labyrinthos

The [?] wall marker is usually an indicator of a Secret Passage or a Shortcut from one side of the Labyrinth to another.
But i've heard rumours it's sometimes used to mark other secrets hidden within the walls!
Treasure, Anomalies,
Traps and more!
It's not unheard of for a Cartographer to hide various data within a wall tile.
A story: One time I found what I thought was a shortcut,
But I was shocked to discover that the secret within the wall was a dangerous Anomaly lurking within!
To avoid making the same mistake twice, I've started considering the floor layouts of the Labyrinth more.
If it's possible, one should see if anything is on the other side of the wall first before checking the [?].
Look out for any suspicious design choices on that floor of the labyrinth,
If i keep at it, I think that will be the key to a steady spelunking in the future.
